My Dictionary
My Dictionary allows you to save searches and articles with notes for your reference.
1. Registration and log in
To access My Dictionary, you must be logged in to your subscription.
Additionally, if your subscription is through an organisation you must register for your own personal My Dictionary account and log into that with your email address.
If you have an individual subscription, you will automatically be logged in to My Dictionary without having to register another account.
If you have registered and logged into My Dictionary with your email address, you can log out using 'Logout of My Dictionary' on the left hand side of the My Dictionary page. Logging out of your Dictionary Subscription using the 'Logout' link on the top right of the page will also log you out of My Dictionary as well as your subscription.
2. My Dictionary Home Page
Use the My Dictionary link in the Dictionary navigation bar to enter My Dictionary. You will need to log in at this point.
The My Dictionary Home Page shows your most recent saved searches and bookmarked articles.
You can also access the full lists using the links 'Saved Searches' and 'Bookmarked Articles'.
3. Creating bookmarks and saved searches
To add a Bookmarked Article or Saved Search, use the button to the top right on the Search Results page or Article page. You will need to log in to My Dictionary if you have not done so already.
Saved Searches and Bookmarked Articles are stored in your personal account and can be retrieved by logging in, whereever you are.
You can add notes to each item for future reference.
4. Managing bookmarks and saved searches
The title of each item is a link that will carry out the saved search or visit the bookmarked article.
Using 'Edit' you can update the description and notes for your saved items. You can also delete the item with 'Delete'.
