The New Palgrave Dictionary of Economics Online contains the full text of the 8-volume print edition and is updated at least four times a year with new articles and updates to existing articles, along with new features and functionality. Find out about recent updates.

The first edition of The New Palgrave, published in 1987, contained almost 2,000 articles and was the reference work of choice for over 20 years. It is now available online and all subscribers to the Dictionary can enjoy free access to these articles from the Archive, offering the opportunity to see how the field has changed.
